About Karen Sharp-Price: Karen Sharp-Price is a Professional Career Coach (CPCC), Certified Veteran Career Strategist (CVCS), Certified Digital Career Strategist (CDCS), and Certified Human Resources Professional (PHR, SHRM-CP). She is the founder of SharpHR Career Coaching, which began as Sharp Human Resources in 2001 and evolved into a career coaching practice in 2015. In 2026, the firm celebrates 25 years of supporting individuals and organizations through career and workplace transitions. Karen helps people explore career paths, target new opportunities, and confidently transition into new roles. She works with students, early-career professionals, Veterans, and experienced professionals at every stage of their careers, offering practical guidance grounded in clarity, confidence, and strategy. She also serves as the Career Coach for the Veterans Success Center at Daemen University, supporting student Veterans and military-connected learners as they navigate career planning and job search. In addition to her coaching work, Karen is a podcast host and storyteller. She launched the SharpHR Career Corner podcast in 2020 and, in 2026, is introducing two new shows: SharpHR Second Chapter – Unforgettable Career Stories, focused on career transitions across industries, and SharpHR Real Talk: Careers After College, offering real-world job search advice for graduating students and early-career professionals.
